- Juice the Lemons – Start by juicing your fresh lemons. You’ll need about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice for this recipe.
- Make the Simple Syrup – In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water with the sugar. Heat on medium until the sugar dissolves, then remove from heat and let it cool.
- Mix the Lemonade – In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, and remaining water. Stir well.
- Serve – Fill glasses with ice and pour the lemonade over. Garnish with lemon slices if desired, and enjoy!

- For a sugar-free version, replace the sugar with stevia or monk fruit sweetener.
