Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Unflavored gelatin Grass-fed plain, not collagen peptides
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice Juice of about half a lemon
  • 1/2 cup Warm water Not boiling
  • 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar opt Optional for metabolism boost
  • 1 pinch Ground ginger optional Optional for digestion

Equipment

  • 1 Mug Heat-safe
  • 1 Spoon For stirring
  • 1 Small Bowl For blooming gelatin
  • 1 Measuring spoons 1 tbsp and 1 tsp sizes

Method
 

  1. Add 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin to a small bowl with 2 tbsp cool water. Let sit for 2 minutes to bloom.
  2. Heat ½ cup of water until warm but not boiling. Pour into the bowl and stir until the gelatin fully dissolves.
  3. Add fresh lemon juice and any optional ingredients like apple cider vinegar or ground ginger.
  4. Pour into a mug and drink slowly on an empty stomach, preferably 20–30 minutes before breakfast.
  5. Optional: For a night version, replace lemon with 1 tsp raw honey and drink before bed.
