- Place chicken into the crock pot.
- In a small bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce.
- Pour sauce mixture over chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- In the final 30 minutes, whisk cornstarch and cold water together. Stir into crock pot to thicken the sauce.
- Shred or slice chicken, return to sauce, and stir to coat.
- Serve hot over jasmine rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
Use thighs for the juiciest texture.
Add pineapple chunks in the last hour for a Hawaiian twist.
