Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a Madeleine pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add the melted butter, cream, and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Spoon the batter into the Madeleine pan, filling each mold about three-quarters full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow the Madeleines to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove them and let them cool completely.
Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
