Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
  • ½ cup unsalted butter browned
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and cook until browned. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
  7. Fold in the browned butter and chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top evenly.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
