- Boil 1 cup of water to about 200°F.
- Add dried butterfly pea flowers to an infuser or teapot.
- Pour hot water over the flowers and cover.
- Let steep for 5–7 minutes until the tea turns deep blue.
- Remove flowers and stir in lemon, honey, or ginger if desired.
- Serve hot or iced with optional mint garnish.
