  • 1 40 oz can Bruce’s Yams Drained
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar Packed
  • ¼ cup Butter Melted
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 cups Mini Marshmallows Optional topping
  • ½ cup Chopped Pecans Optional streusel
  • ¼ cup All-purpose Flour For streusel
  • 2 tbsp Butter Melted for streusel
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar For streusel topping

  • 1 Potato Masher Or fork/hand mixer
  • 1 oven Preheated to 350°F

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Drain Bruce’s Yams and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mash until smooth (or slightly chunky if preferred).
  4. Add brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Pour mixture into baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. For marshmallow topping: sprinkle marshmallows evenly over top.
  7. For pecan streusel: combine pecans, flour, melted butter, and brown sugar in a bowl, then sprinkle over casserole.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden and bubbling. If using marshmallows, watch closely to prevent burning.
  9. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
